Police investigate coach smash attack after Alfreton Town v Forest Green Rovers

Police are investigating an incident of criminal damage on an Alfreton Town match day.

At around 5pm on Saturday, 5th October, someone hit the windscreen of a Forest Green Rovers supporter’s coach while it was parked in Alma Street, causing it to break.

Football intelligence officer PC Roger Brown said: “Both Derbyshire police and Alfreton Town FC take a zero tolerance approach to any disorder.

“I am very disappointed by this incident. The club and ourselves have worked extremely hard to maintain and enhance the match day experience at the Impact Arena. I would ask anyone with information to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
