Police hunting flasher who exposed himself to women on the Teversal Trail

Police in Ashfield are appealing for anyone with information to come forward following two reports of a man indecently exposing himself to women on the Teversal Trail over the weekend (Saturday 25th to Sunday 26th October).

Nottinghamshire Police were initially called just before 2.20pm on Saturday 25th October after the man indecently exposed himself to a woman near to a wooded area often visited by local families, hikers and dog walkers.

Just after 4.45pm on Sunday 26th October, a second incident was reported after the man indecently exposed himself and became verbally aggressive to a female dog walker on a footpath leading from Buttery Lane towards Pleasley.

The man is described as in his late 20s, of medium build. He is around 5ft 10ins tall and has mousy blond hair. He was wearing a baggy grey and turquoise hoody underneath a grey top, grey bottoms and trainers with a lime green flash on the side.

Both offences are believed to have been committed by the same man, who it is believed could be sleeping rough in the area.

The local policing team have stepped up patrols of the area as they look to identify the offender.

Anyone with information is asked to call Nottinghamshire Police as soon as possible on 101, quoting incident number 667 of 26 October 2014.
