Police hunt man after assault and attempted theft in Mansfield supermarket

The incidents happened at Asda in Old Mill Lane and are understood to have involved the same person.

A television was reported stolen on Monday, December 11 2017.

It is believed the same man assaulted security staff at the store two days later after they reportedly stopped him trying to leave with a hoover. It happened at around 12.05am.

The man in the image is white, of a slim build with short brown hair. He was wearing black trousers and a black hooded jacket.
