Police helicopter over Ashfield searching for ‘suspicious’ man
A police helicopter was on the hunt for a suspicious man in an Ashfield scrap yard last night (August 30).
Nottinghamshire Police received a call around 8pm to say the man was “acting suspiciously” inside a scrap yard on Urban Road, Kirkby.
The helicopter was sent to help out with the search of the area around 8.10pm but nobody was found.
A spokesman for the police said: “Nothing was reported to have been taken.”
