Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit , South Normanton & Pinxton Safer Neighbourhood Team and Alfreton Town SNT stopped the man overnight.
A stinger was deployed on Junction 28 however, the car did not stop until it was in South Normanton where the driver reportedly tried to run from police.
A Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit spokesman said: "Caught and no surprise to learn he’s already disqualified and wanted on recall to prison."
