Police called after reports motorist was traveling on wrong side of A38 in Sutton

Motorists faced long delays today (Tuesday) after police were alerted to a driver travelling on the wrong side of the carriageway along an Ashfield road.

Nottinghamshire Police says it responded to a call at 4.45am amid reports that a motorist was driving on the wrong side of King’s Mill Road East.

The incident happened on the stretch of road near to the Watermill Toby Carvery.

Officers attended the scene to assist and assess the situation and the road was closed.
