Pleasley man charged with exposure and sexual assault offences

A PLEASLEY man has appeared in court charged with 26 sexual offences

Alan Jevons, of Crompton Road, pleaded not guilty to 18 charges of sexual assault on a female which are alleged to have taken place in Langwith and Nether between January 2007 and June this year.

He is alleged to have grabbed women’s breasts and pulled down items of their clothing.

The 24-year-old is also charged with five counts of exposure after allegedly exposing his genitals in Nether Langwith between January 2007 and August 2008.

Jevons also denied three counts of sexual touching on a female aged 16 or over when he appeared at Mansfield Magistrates Court.

These offences are alleged to have happened at Langwith and Nether Langwith between January 2007 and August 2010.

There are a number of alleged female victims.

Jevons, who appeared in the dock, was refused bail and remanded into custody.

He will reappear at Mansfield Magistrates Court via video link on Friday before being committed to Nottingham Crown Court on 26th September.
