Pleasley man accused of machete crime
A Pleasley man has been accused of carrying an axe and a machete in a public place and wounding a man.
Terry Dawson, 46, of Hillmoor Street, denied maliciously wounding Mark Sharpe on August 27, when he appeared before Mansfield magistrates on Wednesday.
He also pleaded not guilty to assault by beating, and carrying an offensive weapon in public.
He was sent to Nottingham Crown Court for trial on January 27.
