Plans have been submitted to Mansfield District Council to develop the site of a vape shop to create a car showroom.
The application, which was submitted by George Alambritis, proposes developing Vape Hq, Woodhouse Road, to create a specialist sports car showroom as well as new vape shop unit for the exisiting business.
Three more car parking spaces would also be created upping the number from eight to 11 and there would be a sales office inside the showroom.
A statement submitted alongside the application said the proposed development of the site intends to replace the existing Vape HQ facilities with a phased development, relocating their existing shop into the new building and "maintaining continuity of their business onsite".
It said: "The additional units will provide a highquality facility for convenience shopping or specialist shops and have been designed to maximise the site potential, providing additional onsite car parking."
"The new units have been designed to provide a modern and unobtrusive scheme as standalone development."
According to the plans, the development would have industrial cladding while a a deep fascia has been chosen to "offer a more monolithic appearance around the irregular plan shape."
A small 600mm high brick wall will separate the site from a highway foot path to the east side of the development.
