Plans for 18 new homes in Sutton: latest Ashfield District Council planning applications

Peveril Homes Ltd have applied for planning permission to build 18 dwellings with associated access on land south of Mansfield Road Sutton.

The proposals provide a mixture of 1, 2, 3, and 4 bedroomed properties.

The application seeks a revised layout for part of an existing residential site, which the applicants say means that the principle has already been accepted and most technical concerns already addressed.

The site measures approximately 0.5ha and is part of a wider area of land owned by the applicant which is currently being developed in phases to provide residential units.

Earlier phases have or are being built out for housing, with some available for occupation.

The application site is currently vacant. The former B1, B2 and B8 buildings have been demolished and the area has been prepared for development in accordance with the previous planning consent.

The proposed layout of the site allows access to the site via the previous phases of residential development which leads onto Unwin Road to the south.

The applicant says proposals still represent an efficient use of brownfield land in a sustainable location.

* A planning application has been made for the a development for existing use of a dwelling as a house of multiple occupation on Redcliffe Street, Sutton.

* Planning permission is being sought for a garage to front and rear ground floor extension to a house on Church Lane Selston.

* An outline planning application has been made with all matters reserved for one dwelling and garage on Skegby Road Kirkby.
