Planning permission granted for 200 new homes in Mansfield

Housing developers Persimmon said they welcomed the permission granted by Mansfield District Council to allow them to begin work on the development.

Persimmon Homes Nottingham plans to build 200 homes, off Water Lane, Pleasley.

Avalon, as it will be named, will feature two, three, four and five-bedroom homes.

Neil Follows, managing director at Persimmon Homes Nottingham, said: "Our anticipated investment in Mansfield forms part of our strategic expansion programme that aims to bring 202 new homes to the Nottinghamshire region.
