Permission to build detached bungalows and houses in Warsop have been given the go-ahead by town planners.

Dukeries Homes applied to build on the site on the former Goose Farm, off Wood Street.

It will see nine three-bedroom bungalows built, and four four-bed houses, with three off-street spaces each, including an integrated or detached garage.

The site previously had planning permission to build 24 dwellings but the application expired.

The land was previously used as allotments.

Mansfield planning committee unanimously voted in favour of the project.

Mansfield and Warsop councillor, John Kerr said: “It’s been a long time coming and I’m pleased to support it.”
