Places for a new Mansfield parade are filling up

A new community parade set to be held in Mansfield's town centre is filling up fast as groups sign up to take part in the fun.

The Mayor’s Community Parade, which route was confirmed last week has had 20 groups sign up to march in the parade. 80 groups will be allowed to take part and charities can take part for free.

Including Mansfield and District Male Voice Choir, Mansfield Rotary and Mansfield Garage Doors.

The parade lead by Mansfield’s Mayor Kate Allsop will be held on Sunday, June 10 and was inspired by one of Mansfield’s sister cities in Pennsylvania which also hosts a community parade.
