Nottingham Forest player Eric Lichaj helped kick off a new salon in Annesley opened by his wife Kat.

Boutique boss Kat has forged a partnership with Kelly Barlow, who runs Porterhouse By Barlows, to launch the salon on Forest Road.

Kat said: “Kelly and I are trying to keep the street going and have decided to invest in this salon.

“We said let’s get together and make next door work as well.

“Both our names start with K so we went for the KK name.”

The building, formerly T Bird and Pink Ladies hair salon, has had a complete makeover.

Customers tried out the new salon after Kat and Eric cut the ribbon at a special launch party on Saturday.
