PICS: Firework spectacular dazzles Mansfield visitors

A glittering array of fireworks lit up the sky over Mansfield on Saturday as visitors flocked to an event at Debdale Recreation Ground.

The fireworks spectacular, which promised to be the ground’s “best and biggest yet”, also featured a BBQ and disco.

Organisers of the firework display said: “We can not thank everyone enough that came to our firework display for your continued support and patience.

“The staff, volunteers and everyone involved did an amazing job and without them all events like last night would not be possible.

“Every year we try to do that little bit more to make it an enjoyable and memorable evening for everyone.”

Mansfield resident Kelly Ann said the fireworks were “pretty and fabulous, with lots to watch”.
