Physical activity encouraged at Mansfield nursery which is rated 'good' by Ofsted

Robin’s Den on Clipstone Road West has been given a rating of ‘good’ by the education watchdog Ofsted during its latest inspection.

Tina Garner an Ofsted inspector said: “The nursery create outdoor activities,including ball games and racing games.

“This helps to promote children’s physical development.”

Staff were also noted to have a clear understanding of their role and children learn about safety.

To further improve the inspector said the nursery should “extend activities, give children more encouragement to help them join in activities and consider ways to further support children who have not yet made friends.”
