This incredible aerial photograph shows the short distance in which Amber Peat was last seen, to where her body was sadly discovered three days later.
The 13-year-old stormed out of her Bosworth Street home (circled in red at the top of the photo) on Saturday evening after a row over chores.
Following a massive police and community search, her body was found on Tuesday evening less than a mile away in a narrow, densely wooded area which sits at the back of a property between Westfield Lane and Parliament Street (circled in red at the bottom of the photo).
Police had more than 400 officers working on the case, which had spread as far as Scotland, where Amber’s biological father lives, and Cornwall, where Amber’s family enjoyed a holiday days before her disappearance.
In addition, hundreds of locals had joined community searches in ann effort to locate her.
Police confirmed that she had died from hanging and there were no suspicious circumstances.
