Students from around Sutton showed off their rhythm and moves as they took part in a dance festival held at Sutton Community Academy.

The festival is held annually and showcases the dance talent at the town’s schools and in the local community.

It isn’t a competition but about sharing and celebrating the art of dance.

As well as Sutton Community Academy, pupils from the primary schools in the area took part, including Priestsic Primary, St Mary’s Primary, Leamington Junior Academy, Skegby Junior Academy and Dalestorth Primary.

Two students from Ashfield School, who dance at Sutton-based Dancemania, were asked to do a number in the show and British dance champions, Sutton Community Academy student Elliot Bland Harwood and his partner Mia Linnik-Holden, also joined in, putting on an expert performance.
