Nottinghamshire-based creative business CCM Group has partnered up with its chosen charity of the year, Nottinghamshire Mind, to organise The Big Notts Raffle, taking place on Thursday, May 13 as part of Mental Health Awareness Week.
The event will go towards enhancing Nottinghamshire Mind’s services, ensuring they have the resources available to support individuals in the local Nottinghamshire community with their own mental health recovery, with 100 per cent of the profits going to the charity.
Prizes already generously donated by local businesses so far include an overnight stay at The Lace Market Hotel, spa day at Clumber Park Hotel & Spa, two tickets to a Lincoln City football match, a signed Nottingham Forest shirt, a signed Mansfield Town Football Club football, an electric scooter from REEL, four tickets for four-ball golf at The Nottinghamshire Golf and Country Club and an England cricket shirt signed by Nottinghamshire bowler Stuart Broad.
Trent Peek, group director at CCM Group said: "We’re hoping that by organising this virtual event during Mental Health Awareness Week, we will be able to raise awareness for an important topic as well as raise vital funds for a very worthy cause.”
Jo Sanders, partnerships and promotions lead at Nottinghamshire Mind, added: “We’re really looking forward to the event and have some amazing prizes lined up, kindly
donated by some fantastic local businesses.
“The generosity and support we’ve received so far is truly heartwarming and it already feels like a real community effort.”
