Molly was rescued by Clare Rickett last week and taken to her new home in Chapel Street in Kirkby.
Unfortunately Molly managed to escape on August 25 and is now running loose in the area and, despite several sightings, has still not been found.

Hide AdAs Molly is new to the area and a very timid dog, a representative from DogLost UK is appealing for the public to follow very specific advice if they see her, asking people to not approach her or call her name, and to contact the rescuers with details of the sighting.
Lisa Dean runs Beauty’s Legacy and is a representative for DogLost said: “Molly hasn’t had the best start in life so will be terrified.
“She doesn’t know the area and hasn’t even had time to get accustomed to her new name or owner.
“We need people to help us by acting in a very specific way should they spot her to avoid spooking her.

“We are worried she’s going to end up running into traffic and get killed – her new owner is beside herself.”
Molly is described as a small, brown, whippet cross with a red collar.
