Karen Vincent-Ernst, sales director at Open Door Interiors, said: “I think we’ve shown through these homes that a palette of neutrals doesn’t mean that a home will look monotonous, it actually draws the attention to all the different elements that make it interesting to the eye.

"We have showcased the Colour of Year, ultimate grey, as the perfect neutral, understated and elegant.”

The Edlingham is a spacious home which comprises a chic and modern living room area, a kitchen and garden room with a separate utility room, a study for the ultimate work-from-home space, a downstairs cloakroom and five beautifully designed bedrooms.

The home uses the soft green tones of eau de Nil as a key colour accent, with this flowing through each room and bringing warming tones to the space.

The design of the Tonbridge works to bring in different tones through the home, using complementing shades of silvers, whites and gilver.

The house offers a hall, stairs and a landing, a striking living area which uses black, white and ivory tones, kitchen and downstairs cloakroom in addition to its four bedrooms. Each room is uniquely designed, with the interior encompassing modern trends like panelling and wallpapering.

The furniture within both homes brings in textures and warmth, with many items being bespoke-made for the development.

Natalie Griffiths, sales and marketing director at Harron Homes North Midlands, said: “It’s always incredibly exciting to see our vision for developments come alive, and the Edlingham and Tonbridge show homes exemplify everything we love about Harron Homes, from the build to the design.”
