'Success' at Sutton car garage with launch of MoT station

Sutton Auto & MoT Centre is located on Downing Street. Running a range of vehicle services, with a set of skilled mechanics at the helm, the garage was taken on under new ownership in 2019.

Earlier this month, the garage launched its new MoT bay, courtesy of JHM Butt & Co, of Doncaster.

Rezgar Naby, garage owner, said: “It is exciting to see our business expand and offer this service to customers.”

JHM Butt supplied and installed the MoT bay, and provided training on the products to ensure the Sutton team could ‘get the best’ from the new equipment.

A spokesman from the installation company said: “It was a pleasure to work with Rezgar on this project and wish him every success with his new MoT centre.”

Staff member Lisa Stout’s mum, Teresa Newton, was the caterer behind the open day’s buffet which went down a treat with staff and supporters.

The launch was attended by Lee Anderson, Ashfield MP, who cut the ceremonial ribbon, officially opening the MoT bay for the business.

Mr Anderson said: “It is great to see another business doing well in Ashfield, such a fantastic team lead by owner Rezgar. Wishing them the very best of luck.”

The garage is also running an offer of a service and MOT available from £130.

Mr Naby said the garage is the only supplier of Japanese vehicles in the area, a unique selling point for the car-loving team.
