It’s been an exciting time for young perfomers at local theatre school Razzmataz after they performed at Disneyland Paris and shared a stage with Britain’s Got Talent winners Collabro.

A group of 20 Mansfield youngsters travelled to one of the most enchanting places on earth thanks to a local theatre school which arranged a special performance for them at Disneyland Paris.

The lucky youngsters all attend Razzamataz Mansfield where they rehearsed for months to perfect their performance ready for The Dome in Disney Village.

Youngsters prepared a Disney-inspired piece from Aladdin for the gala performance entitled RazzaMagique.

Principal Claire Blower said: “I am overwhelmingly proud of each and every student. The icing on the cake was the incredible opportunity to perform the school’s own song in the iconic Disney Performing Arts pre-parade down Main Street USA in the Disneyland Park.”

Students from the performing arts group also recently performed alongside Britain’s Got Talent winners Collabro when they took to the stage at the Theatre Royal, Nottingham.

Principal Claire added: “It’s been a very busy time for us but to see our students shine both with Collabro and in Disneyland was just fantastic.”

As well as lots of local events, new for 2018, students will be performing at the Indigo Centre at London’s O2.

Razzamataz offers a wide range of performing arts styles for youngsters age two-18 including current trends that are accessible to children and teenagers.

Classes consist of dance, drama and singing and the curriculum covers the whole of the performing arts, from classic West End musical theatre to street dance, pop singing and acting for camera.
