Seven-strong team visit Ashfield on nationwide 'Yompathon' to support mental health
Fundraisers paid a visit to Ashfield Fire Station as part of their 3,863-mile march visiting various military and emergency service sites.

The Yompathon sees a team of seven men marching 3,863 miles over 40 days and nights, carrying 25-kilogram backpacks – ‘doing something mental to help those with their mental health’.
The team are raising money for mental health support for seven branches of the services – Royal Navy, Royal Marines, the Army, Royal Air Force, police, fire and rescue services and ambulance services.

“They are ‘soldiering’ on, even though they have really bad blisters to their feet.”
