Selston care home achieves perfect score to retain national end-of-life care accreditation
A Selston care home has achieved a perfect score of 82 out of 82 to retain its prestigious Gold Standards Framework (GSF) accreditation for another three years.
Wren Hall, a specialist dementia and nursing care home on Nottingham Road, operated by Church Farm Care, received full marks across both its portfolio of evidence and assessment visit – recognising the team’s continued commitment to delivering high-quality end-of-life care.
The GSF helps health and social care teams provide proactive, personalised care for people approaching the end of life, with its accreditation process assessing how effectively it is embedded into everyday practice.
Wren Hall’s perfect score reflects the work of colleagues across the home to ensure residents in this position receive care that is centred around their individual wishes, needs and priorities, while families are supported and involved throughout.

The recognition has been followed by Wren Hall being nominated for GSF’s ‘Care Home of the Year’ award, which celebrates homes demonstrating particularly high standards and sustained commitment to the framework.

The winner will be announced at the GSF Annual Conference and Awards Ceremony in Birmingham on September 22, where more than 300 health and social care delegates are expected to come together to celebrate organisations achieving accreditation and re-accreditation.
