After giving birth to her first child Walter on September 10, Jade decided to donate copies of her publication to the children’s ward of Kings Mill Hospital to thank staff.

Jade said: “After a traumatic birth, the care I received before, during and after labour, by staff at Kings Mill was simply amazing. I was 43 weeks, induced and in labour for two days. It all ended in surgery.

"So, as a small thank you, I’ve decided to donate about a dozen copies of my book to the children’s ward on November 12. The story puts a fun spin on everything that is happening during Covid and is written in a positive, child-friendly way so that children understand.”
