£310,000 boost to aid struggling charities in Mansfield during pandemic

Charities across Mansfield are relieved after receiving more than £300,000 in funding to help them continue their vital work during the coronavirus pandemic.

A total of 13 organisations in Mansfield have received £310,344 via the Government’s Coronavirus Community Support Fund.

The support package aims to ensure voluntary, community and social enterprise sectors can continue despite the impact of the Covid-19 crisis.

Organisations that have benefited include Disability Nottinghamshire (£9,000), OneConversation (£7,978), Diversity Watch Limited (£9,593), S.H.E. UK (£9,771), Schools Out For Summer (£10,000), Vibrant Warsop Community Interest Company (£9,520), TenFifty (£9,068), Feel Good Gardens CIC (£4,500), Spectrum WASP (£16,375), Mansfield and District Citizens Advice Bureau (£32,126), Hettys (£63,655), Ladybrook Enterprises Ltd (£57,663) and Mansfield Play Forum (£71,095).

Mansfield MP Ben Bradley said: “Brilliant news that the Government’s Coronavirus Community Support Fund has so far helped 13 local charities across Mansfield.
