Portland College's Woodland Adventure Zone wins award for excellence in innovation and design

A woodland adventure zone at Mansfield’s Portland College has won an award for excellence in design and innovation.

The top prize in its class at the Mansfield and Ashfield Business Awards 2020 was presented at an online ceremony.

Set amongst acres of pine trees within Sherwood Forest, the Woodland Adventure Zone includes a seven-metre high climbing tower, 90 metre zipline, bushcraft activities, gravity trail, woodland walks and much more.

The purpose-built facility is fully accessible to wheelchair users and people with disabilities.

The adventure zone is Covid secure and is open now to school groups, families and businesses who are looking for a local team building day.
