Plans lodged to transform former Warsop bank into restaurant and flats with roof terrace

A planning application has been submitted to turn a former bank on Warsop’s high street into a restaurant, with two flats.

If approved, the former bank at 4 and 4a high street could be turned into a restaurant or cafe on the ground floor, with two flats to the rear of the ground floor and first floor.

Proposed changes include a single-story rear extension to allow space for a two bedroomed flat on the ground floor, and a three bedroomed flat on the first floor, which would include a roof terrace, as well as a cafe or restaurant to the front of the ground floor.

Details for the type of restaurant or cafe proposed have not yet been revealed, as plans were only submitted yesterday (March 9).

The conservation statement reads: “The proposed alterations will bring a currently vacant property back into use along the main high street of Warsop.”
