The one way system was introduced due to residents’ concerns over social distancing at the reservoir.

Councillor David Martin, Portfolio Holder for streets, parks and town centres on Ashfield District Council said, “We ask that all residents using the reservoir respect the one way system. We have also placed banners in the car park reminding residents that when taking daily exercise you should do so from home.

“I’m confident that the vast majority of residents can get to a decent park or walk within their locality. Please leave your car at home.”
