With complimentary breakfast rolls and drinks, home staff say the event offers an opportunity to give back to show appreciation for the dedicated individuals who support and care for others every day.

Ashfield MP Lee Anderson (Ref) will also be attending the event.

Manjas Lidder, managing director at Lidder Care, which runs the home, said: “Our Blue Light Breakfast is a small way for us to say thank you to the incredible individuals who work tirelessly to support our communities every day.'

‘At Lidder Care, community is at the heart of everything we do, and we are proud to create opportunities that bring people together whilst recognising the dedication and hard work of our local Blue Light services.’

Last November, home manager Chris Morrison was a finalist in the Leader of the Year category at the Proud to Care Nottinghamshire Awards 2025, with deputy manager Maggie Blower also a finalist in the Social Care Nurse/Nursing Associate category.

Chris said: ‘Following the success of our previous event, we’re delighted to once again welcome Blue Light Card holders and members of the local community to Lowmoor.”

Lidder Care has been serving communities across Mansfield and Ashfield for more than 30 years and also operates Newgate Lodge Care Home in Mansfield and other care services across Nottinghamshire.
