"Spencer’s sentencing will never make up for what happened but his behaviour will now be closely monitored through the sexual harm prevention order in order to protect the public and prevent further offences.

"Nottinghamshire Police encourages any survivors of abuse to come forward and report it. We will investigate and seek justice for them - even if the abuse happened a long time ago.

"The force takes reports of such matters very seriously and will investigate them, working with the Crown Prosecution Service, to put a robust case to the courts. Reporting of such matters should not be deterred by time delays or the community standing of those responsible."
