Nottinghamshire man arrested on suspicion of attempting to engage child in sexual communication
A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempting to engage a child in sexual communication.

Police officers carried out the arrest in Newark this Sunday morning, October 11, after receiving information from an online activist group. A number of electronic devices were also seized.
Nottinghamshire police say the man remains in custody and enquiries are “continuing.”
Chief Inspector Peter Quinn, of Nottinghamshire Police's Public Protection department, said that: "Sexual offences against children are treated with the utmost seriousness by Nottinghamshire Police."
