Kimberley Clayton, said: "I just want to say thank you to everyone who has offered help.

"I owe a huge thank you to Trevor, the garage owner, who has been amazing. He has offered to fix my car and provided me with a courtesy car to get me to work while mine is being fixed, a truly remarkable man, I am so grateful.

"I was horrified to find that after such a long and tiring shift, to see my catalytic converter had been stolen.

"It left me with no car and stuck 30-miles away from my home in Sheffield.

“I was stressing, not just about getting to and from work, but to be able to do the food shop and look after my family.

"As if life isn't difficult enough for key workers right now, somebody thought it acceptable to do this in a hospital staff car park. I am just devastated.

"I can't thank everyone enough, from my colleagues getting me home, to the amazing nurses who took a picture of it happening and trying to stop him, to the police officers."
