Mansfield’s double Olympic gold medallist Rebecca Adlington has revealed she’s become a proud mother for a second time.

The 32-year-old former swimmer, who shot to global prominence at the 2008 Games in Beijing when she won the 400 and 800-metre freestyle events in the pool, took to Instagram to announce the birth of baby boy Albie.

"Welcome to the world Albie Bennett Parson. 4.3.21,” the former Brunts School pupil told her 94,000-plus followers on the social media platform.
