The 55-year-old, who has run the salon on Station Street, Mansfield Woodhouse, for the past 24-years, said she was “absolutely amazed” that in slightly over two weeks the salon’s customers and friends had helped raise a “staggering” £560.

Tracy, who lives in Mansfield Woodhouse, but is originally from Mansfield, said: “In the climate that we are in at the moment the generosity of people is staggering. I’m amazed we raised so much just from a raffle. It was the first time I have ever done anything like this before but I will definitely be planning to do more fund raising at some point in the future.
“It all started out because we wanted to help local families in the Mansfield Woodhouse area who are struggling, I couldn’t believe how much was raised and so quickly. WOW! For everyone that bought a ticket I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart, you are truly amazing.”
Specialist Parenting Practitioner Anne Callaghan and Councillor John Coxhead drew the raffle which was won by Liz Langdon, who is a customer of stylist Jaimee-Leigh Ward who works in Tracy’s salon.
Anne Callaghan said: “We shall put this money to very good use helping families in the Mansfield Woodhouse community."
