Mansfield wildlife charity appeal for café volunteers

A Mansfield wildlife charity is appealing for volunteers to help run the café facility on site.

Mansfield Wildlife Trust is looking for volunteers specifically for the onsite café during the week, between 10:30am and 3:30pm.

Cheryl Martins, who runs Mansfield Wildlife Rescue said: “Every penny raised in our café goes directly towards caring for sick, injured and orphaned wildlife, so your help here makes a huge difference. No experience is needed, just a friendly attitude and a willingness to lend a hand.”

The ‘Secret Garden Tea Room’ is now open for the summer season, operated by volunteers to raise funds for Mansfield Wildlife Rescue.

The newly refurbished venue provides customers with an opportunity to enjoy nature while supporting a dedicated charity that cares for wild animals from across the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire area.

Cheryl added: “Thank you so much for supporting our work and the animals we look after.”
