Mansfield Town sleeve partner Relate Consultancies offers support to UK expats in UAE during regional tensions
Relate Consultancies, a British-run team operating in the UAE, says it is offering practical assistance to UK expats who may be feeling uncertain or require help navigating the current situation.
The company, which is also the official sleeve sponsor of English football club Mansfield Town FC, says its focus is on bringing the British community together and ensuring expats know support is available locally.
Adam Thornhill, who founded and runs the company, said the initiative is about helping fellow Brits who may be far from home during a period of uncertainty.
“Many British expats are living and working in the UAE without close family nearby. Situations like this can create a lot of uncertainty, so we want people to know there are others here willing to help however we can,” he said.
Relate Consultancies says it is able to assist with a range of practical support services for those who may need it, including:
- Helping British nationals register their presence with the UK Government, ensuring they receive official updates and are included in any potential consular planning.
- Support with temporary accommodation where required.
- Transport assistance for those needing help getting around.
- Help with telecommunications or technology setup for those less comfortable with digital services.
- Providing a friendly point of contact for anyone who simply needs advice or someone to talk to.
The company says anyone affected — or anyone who knows someone who may need support is encouraged to reach out.
