Mansfield shopfitters refurbish Holiday Inn Manchester West to give it a brand new look

The Holiday Inn Manchester West continued to operate during the first coronavirus lockdown to serve key workers only, but they also went through a milestone rejuvenation project to fully complete a refurbishment.

To complete the refurbishment the hotel recruited specialist interior fit-out contractor Jephsons shopfitters, based in Maun Way, Mansfield.

Throughout their 20 years experience, Jephsons have worked with some of the UK’s biggest fast-food retail outlets, bars and hotels.

And with their purpose-built manufacturing facilities they have had the flexibility to adapt during the lockdown period and tailor scheduling according to the customer's needs.

Andy Nixon, Jephsons project manager, said: “This is one of the first projects we completed under the new Covid operating guidelines and the entire team involved did a fantastic job during this very challenging time for everyone.

"While the Holiday Inn team were making vital changes to their normal day to day procedures to keep in line with the ever-changing Covid guidelines the team also operated and adapted to allow for this project to be carried out.

"This pandemic has effected lots of industries, and hospitality is one of them. We are proud to work with Holiday Inn to help them refresh and prepare for a new start and outpace the competition.

"We were impressed with the design and features embedded throughout the project and believe it offers their customers a pleasurable and comfortable stay.”

The project was completed in stages to ensure minimum disruption to the day to day operation for Holiday Inn Manchester West and it completely transformed the hotel reception area, breakfast and bar section.

Jephsons Shopfitters delivered the entire project from start to finish, including manufacturing and fitting the bespoke reception desk to fitting the coffee station area that gives the venue the perfect finish.
