Mansfield estate agents donates to food bank scheme supporting vulnerable residents

Kind-hearted staff at a Mansfield estate agents have donated vital cash to help support vulnerable people in the community.

Award-winning Mansfield estate agents BuckleyBrown donated £1,100 to a neafood bank to help the organisation maintain supplies to those in need.

Staff at the firm, based in Leeming Street in Mansfield town centre, decided to donate £100 of the selling fee for any new listing obtained during May to the Sherwood Forest Food Bank.

Located at the Stable Centre, in Church Street, Mansfield Woodhouse, the food bank helps people with a variety of items, such as food and personal products.

Co-director Jon Brown said: “On behalf of all the team at BuckleyBrown, I’d like to say how delighted I am to be able to present a cheque to the food bank, which does so much to support those in need.”

Keith Hadfield, the project manager at the food bank, which is part of The Trussell Trust network, said: “This food bank has had unbelievable tremendous support from the community, and donations such as this from BuckleyBrown will go a long way to helping us to continue to provide such an important service.”
