Ady James began running live online classes during the lockdown for his clients to keep up with their fitness goals but soon realised that many people were becoming demotivated due to training in their living room.

He decided to cook up some new ideas and created a healthy eating plan to control the calorie intakes of his clients.

Ady said: “I already had my own fitness program app so I created an eating plan that consists of many healthy meal choices all men and women could follow easily and enjoy eating which would put them into a calorie deficit without feeling they are on a strict diet.”

Personal trainer Ady James has helped people in Mansfield lose a combined 54 stone.

Members at Ady’s gym are now part of a small community group with a Facebook page being set up to help each other push themselves.

The group enables members to post workouts, pictures of their meals, and questions regarding fitness to quash any misinformation so that they can achieve their goals accurately.

Recently, a free competition has been set up for people to win cash prizes and free memberships for his gym by achieving results.

Ady said: “Over 100 people have taken part in this free comp to try help folk get back confidence and reach their goals, as we have now completed week 4 we have a group loss of 754lbs so over 54 stone.

“The positive reaction this has had so far with so many others now joining my program and support group has been incredible.

“The support each and every person has given to others within my support group has been just overwhelming to see.”
