Kingsway Primary School pupils show their support for Kirkby's dementia sufferers
A group of kind-hearted Kirkby kids took time out of their day this week to share some special moments with dementia sufferers.
Youngsters from Kingsway Primary School's Kindness Crew chatted and played games with locals who go to the town’s Forget-Me-Not Dementia Support Group.

During the visit to the Trinity Centre Point group, the caring kids also handed over a £75 donation raised through a break time cake bake sale.
Jodie Smith, family support worker at Kingsway, said she was extremely proud of her pupils.
“It was heart-warming to see how kind, caring, and supportive the children were, taking the time to listen, help, and brighten someone’s day,” she said.
“We are so proud of the compassion and empathy our children showed today. Small acts of kindness can make a big difference.”
The Kindness Crew involves pupils gathering to carry out a range of after school actiivities to promote the message of making the world a better place.
