Barratt Developments was invited to become the Tommy Club’s first corporate patron through its relationship with the RBLI. The housebuilder donated £100,000 as an acceptance gift and has purchased Tommy Club figures from the RBLI to help them raise money.
The Tommy Club is a fundraising initiative launched by the RBLI which is a new and exciting way for people to support Armed Forces veterans. Tommy Club aims to create a new community that will provide the best possible care for the deserving veterans of recent conflicts.

The funds raised through Tommy sales have helped to provide jobs, homes, and mental health support throughout the current pandemic. Those who have lost their jobs, their homes, their families, come to the home of the Tommy, the RBLI, for help.
Mark Cotes, managing director at Barratt Homes North Midlands, said: “We are proud to support the Tommy Club by erecting the figures at our developments in Nottinghamshire.
“Not only will the funding help to support the fantastic work they are doing, the figures will also encourage our staff and residents to take a moment of reflection for those who served for our freedom.”
