Coun Teresa Cullen (Brox All), portfolio holder for health and leisure, said: “The Hemlock Happening is, and has been for many years, a staple in residents’ calendars, attracting more than 9,000 visitors.

“With free entry, free live music and performances, and plenty of free activities on the day, the event provides people with the opportunity to come together as a community and enjoy a fantastic day out with family and friends for little to no cost.”

“Every time I’ve been, it’s been so wonderful to see people dancing, smiling and laughing with each other, and I expect this year to be no different – a true community celebration for all.”

Parking is available on site for Blue Badge holders only.

Free event parking is available at Ilkeston Road Recreation Ground in Stapleford – please avoid parking on residential streets.

Residents are also encouraged to walk, cycle, or use public transport.
