More than 471,352 vaccines have now been administered to the top nine priority groups in Nottinghamshire but in each cohort there are still a number of people who are yet to book an appointment.

A number of slots are still available and health leaders are encouraging anyone who is eligible to book an appointment by visiting the booking link or calling the booking line on 0115 883 4640 between 8am and 8pm on weekdays and 9am and 5pm at weekends.

Across Nottinghamshire, there are now six pharmacy-led sites offering the vaccine to anyone who is eligible – including The Towers in Mansfield and Edwinstowe Pharmacy.

Amanda Sullivan, accountable officer at NHS Nottingham and Nottinghamshire CCG, said: “In April, we are expecting a reduced supply of vaccines which means we will be focusing on providing second doses to the public. This means it is very important to take up the offer of a vaccine if you have not done so already.

“We have a number of fixed-sites offering the vaccine across the county as well as a number of pharmacy sites. Please book your appointment as soon as possible if you are over 50, clinically vulnerable or a frontline healthcare worker. We have plenty of slots available this week and over the weekend.”
