Chrysalis Health & Beauty is a manufacturer based in Nottingham, run by Chris Smith and Mark Broughton.

Chrysalis does not usually make hand sanitiser gel but, due to COVID-19 and a lack of availability, they have modified their liquids line to produce 20,000 bottles of alcohol hand sanitising gel, all for donation.

Chris Smith said “Ben Bradley MP has helped with arrangements and today we dropped off 2,100 bottles of the hand sanitiser gel at Lindhurst Engineering in Sutton-in-Ashfield, who are kindly helping to co-ordinate and distribute PPE supplies locally.

“Thank you to Martin Rigley and Malcolm Healey of Lindhurst for co-ordinating this with us.”Mark Broughton added “We are delighted to do our little bit to help. Chrysalis is based in Nottingham and we’re donating bottles across the county and elsewhere. As I live in Edingley and Chris is from Mansfield, we wanted to make sure plenty of bottles come up this way to help the local communities.”Ben Bradley MP tweeted: “Thank you Chrysalis for your help donating hand sanitiser with @PPE4NHS and @D2N2LEP – great to see local business supporting the community.” The 20,000 bottles are being donated for use across Nottinghamshire and other regions including the North East.
