Deliveries of aid continue to be taken to various locations on the border between Poland and the Ukraine. This week a fifth  trailer load delivered by Huthwaite's haulage firm Taylor's Transport arrived at an Army base in Boguchwala a little further south than Zamosc.
Polish Straz (guards) are seen enthusiastically unloading the aid. A sixth trailer  has since left the Huthwaite, fully loaded front to back, bottom to top on its way to Tarnow.

,As news of conflict in Ukraine hit the headlines generous and kind-hearted Mansfield and Ashfield, and further afield Nottinghamshire folk leapt into action to help.

As distressing images of refugees desperately trying to leave the country emerged on TV screens, it prompted lots of you to get organised and collect vast amounts of humanitarian aid.

It was loaded onto convoys of HGVs and vans, and was then bound for Poland, for distribution to help needy people caught up in the situation in Ukraine.
