MP Ben Bradley posted on Facebook after sending a letter to the Premier League about their decision to put Black Lives Matter on the back of football shirts.

It comes as a banner saying 'White Lives Matter Burnley' was towed by an aeroplane over the Etihad Stadium during Monday's match against Manchester City.

Mr Bradley posted his opinions on his official Facebook page saying most people don't naturally see skin colour as a defining characteristic adding: "Most people don't care what colour your skin is, until movements like this make a huge thing about pointing it out, and excluding people from the 'unity'.

"If Black Lives Matter is a cry for help from communities who feel that they don't have a fair chance in life, then can the 'White Lives Matter' or 'All Lives Matter' reaction not be the same?"

His post quickly attracted thousands of reactions and comments.

Now former Mansfield Town Player Nathan Arnold, who was born and raised in Mansfield, and has two daughters who were also born in Mansfield, has said he would have expected 'better from someone who is an MP' in an open letter.
