The hobby singer songwriter, who is himself overcoming Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, was even more pleased when his song was played three more times.

He has also put the clip of the song, made at Electric Bear Studios in Mansfield, on You Tube under the title Andy Rue Music, and hopes people will visit the sites.

Andy says he threw himself into music, “as a therapy” to overcome his PTSD and mental health issues cased by “challenging life experiences.” The story of Tyson Fury’s own struggles with mental issues touched a chord with Andy.

He is hoping the song, which is to be released on Friday on music platforms such as Spotify and I Tunes, will take off and raise money for a yet to be decided mental health charity, and is reaching out to Tyson to back the song by choosing the charity.

Andy said: “I have been through some every difficult experiences in my life, but thanks to a lot of help I am coming through them. For me my music and singing is my medicine. The song is about believing in yourself and keeping going.

“I can’t believe the response I have had to the song. I hope when it comes out on Friday people will like it. The video features a bit of commentary from a Tyson fight.”

He added: “I was inspired by Tyson Fury and his struggles, I’d love for him to get behind the record and choose which mental health charity it could raise funds for. I don’t want the money myself.

“I have dedicated the song to my Grandma, who died 18 months ago. She’ d be really proud.”
