Hide AdLeanne, who is 41, and only took over the cafe in July, right in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic, said: “Bonfire Night is coming up soon, I know that from going out to watch the fireworks with my kids it is always freezing then, and that made me start to think about the homeless people out there.

"I recently took over the cafe in July, and we are doing really well so far, despite the coronavirus. I have been on the breadline myself, and I know what it is like to go without, so I wanted to do something to give something to the community.
"I haven’t quite worked how we can do it with the coronavirus restrictions, whether it means me taking food to people in Mansfield, or linking up with a homeless shelter or people who can help me organise it.
"I have budgeted to provide food for 60 people, it might mean taking food to people on their own in groups of six, due to the Covid 19 regulations. If anyone can help with that let me know.”

Leanne added: “Me and my family are so lucky, but there are others out there who are not so fortunate. If anyone knows anyone knows anyone out there who is homeless and would benefit from a tasty roast pork dinner, then please don’t hesitate to message me or get in touch. ”
